Adult Carer homecare, focussed, extended respite service, for families and Carers in the East Midlands
East Midlands Crossroads provides a homecare Carer focussed extended respite service for families and Carers of people living with disabilities in the east midlands.
The primary goal of East Midlands Crossroads is to facilitate the Carer(s) to temporarily remove themselves from the extensive pressures of providing 'care' to their loved ones.
Valuable time is used by our carers in a multiplicity of ways:
- Re-establishing their social environments
- Enhancing their relationships with other family members
- Returning to a working environment
- Performing everyday tasks such as shopping or banking
Respecting the individuality of Carers and people with care needs
East Midlands Crossroads respects the individuality of Carers and people with care needs and seeks to promote their choice, independence, dignity and safety. We believe that Carers must have access to high quality services that enable them to fully benefit from a break from their caring responsibilities.
Involving Carers and people with care needs
We will respect the privacy and personal choices, lifestyles, customs, cultures and values of each person for whom a service is provided and seek to involve Carers and people with care needs in the provision, management and development of services provided by East Midlands Crossroads.
